This cake was for a baby shower cake for a young couple expecting their first child (a boy). Invitations had buttons and foot prints. Gumpaste baby in cot. I removed the block the cot stood on and placed it on a gold plate instead. Forgot to take that shot.
This is my first attempt at making a cake and cupcakes to go along. I really enjoyed doing this cake for Lisa. She asked me to do it for her son and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Janice. I had ample time to make the baby, cot and decorative pieces.
